If you are looking to increase the range and reliability of your wifi connection the SRC is the card to get. It boasts a 300mw max transmit power, the Atheros 5004 chipset and has excellent receive sensitivity meaning that it will be able to pick up weaker signals when other cards fail. Most of customers report that they are able to use their networks in places they couldn't before when using this card.

The SRC also supports 802.11a 5GHz band in addition to 802.11b and 802.11g at 2.4GHz. 802.11a is being used now more than ever as a way to get around interference in the 2.54GHz ISM band.

The Ubiquiti SRC is the only PC-Card 802.11 a/b/g card with MMCX connectors for external antennas. In addition it's maximum transmit power of 300mw is incredible. This is the highest powered PC-Card we know of supporting 802.11b/g and 802.11a.

The SRC is also the card of choice for IT professionals that are tasked with doing WiFi security audits and searching for rogue access points. With this card you will be able to find access points you never new existed. The SRC is compatible with wireless scanning tools like Kismet and Netstumbler.
