This device is an IDE to Compact Flash adapter designed to fit directly into an open IDE controller port. Some uses for this device are taking an existing PC system and making it more appliance like by using a compact flash card to replace an IDE hard drive. Compact Flash has no moving parts and is a great choice for dedicated firewalls, routers and wireless access points.
It has one IDE connector for connecting to your systems IDE controller. It also has one floppy disk style power connector for power. In addition it provides status LED lights.
